just had a baby, feeling a bit yuk and have to go to hubby's xmas ball. what type of dress would be nice?
had a baby 4 weeks ago, feeling fat and horrible and really dont want to go to the ball, but my partner really wants me to go 
i can borrow a dress that is a size 12 but it clings in all the wrong places, but i dont really want to spend out on a ball gown that will never fit me again as would be a terrible waste of money this close to xmas.
what would u do? go but wear the borrowed dress? go but buy a new dress? or not go at all?
Gemma H, thats a lovely dress, but unfortunately it has to be a ball gown below the knee....not a gret look for me even when i am slim as im only 5'2" lol
Buy a dress - sod the money, treat yourself (or get your husband to treat you). You don't have to spend a fortune, you can go 'cheap & cheerful' or charity shop if it's a one off. It is hard to feel special and attractive after having a baby, so go ahead and spoil yourself; you deserve it.
